Highlights of our 2009 Season

The 2007 Season

We are very excited to be entering our sixth season of softball. We recently purchased Softball shirts and we are now definitely one of the best dressed teams. In addition to probably having the largest number of "heavy-hitters" in the league, we also have one of the most experienced teams in the league with over 700 years of baseball playing experience amongst the players on the team. We have had great turnouts of our family members at the games in the past and look forward to its continuation once Hebrew school finishes.

The league has raised the quota of players on a team from 20 to 25 and we have taken advantage by adding several new members to our team. Due to injuries and people on average only being able to make ½ the games, we usually play about 12 people per game. We incorporate a FAIR FACTOR where over the course of a season, people average the same ratio of full vs half games played as well as average number of at bats and batting order.

The league currently has 22 teams in the greater Middlesex area playing. There are three divisions, A ( Very Very Good ), B ( Very Good ), C ( Good ). We are in the C league. The top two teams of each league move up a division and the bottom two move down a division each year to maintain parity.
Hope to see you at the games
