Cable Modem & Wireless Router
The cable modem and separate router are located in the office conference room.
The wireless-G router is mounted high on the wall to provide better coverage and is powered
from a common power strip with the modem located on the wall at the rear.
The wireless router connects directly to the Admin's computer (192.168.0.11) and the Rabbi's computer (192.168.0.18).
The router also connects to a small 4-port switch located on the floor next to the power strip and to a jack located on the wall just above the secretary's desk.
4-port switch
This switch, located in the office conference room, connects to the
computer in that office (192.168.0.12), a wireless switch in Nursery Classroom 7 (192.168.0.9), the Office Copier (192.168.0.114), and Phyllis's Sprint signal booster by the office window.
Office Switch
A wire from the jack above the secretary's desk connects to a 4-port switch located on the floor, next to the secretary's computer.
That switch connects to the Secretary's computer (192.168.0.10), a 4-port switch in the Cantor's office, and the Nursey school wing (through the other jack on the wall above the secretary's desk).
Nursery Room 7 Wireless Switch
This D-Link wireless router is configured as a switch (DHCP disabled) and sits behind the computer (PRE-K-7A - 192.168.0.31)
in the Southwest corner of the room. It connects to that computer and the 2nd computer along the West wall (PRE-K7B 192.168.0.32).
Cantor's hub
This hub is located behind the Cantor's computer (192.168.0.15), and also connects the Lobby Monitor computer (192.168.0.24),
and a wirless-N access point (192.168.0.2 - channel 11) located in the ceiling of the Audio Closet.
Audio Closet Wireless Switch
This access point, located in the ceiling of the audio closet, also serves as a switch which connects to the wireless access point in the Caterer's kitchen. It also connects to a wireless access point in the sanctuary, located on a shelf near the ceiling next to the clock.
Nursery 8-port Switch
The Jack on the wall above the Office Secretary's desk connects to an 8-port switch in the Nursery School wing.
This switch is mounted on the wall in the spare Nursery Office and feeds the Nursery Director's computer (192.168.0.22), the guest computer (192.168.0.23), the secretary's computer (192.168.0.20), the networked printer (192.168.0.112),
the Youth Lounge, a wireless-G access point ( channel 1 - 192.168.0.3) in classroom 2, and a 16-port switch in the new wing.
16-port Switch
This switch is located in the electrical room in the multi-purpose room and feeds all the classrooms and offices in the new wing, in addition to the library.
The Library contains a computer (192.168.0.29) and a wireless-G access-point (channel 6 - 192.168.0.5).
The switch also connects to another wireless-G access point (channel 11 - 192.168.0.4) in the ceiling above the closet.
